MetaDAO Approves Moving the Ownership Capital Escrow Into an Ecosystem Fund

MetaDAO approved META-042, ending the Ownership Capital authorization and approving a transfer of the remaining ~$1.9M escrow to MetaDAO LLC. The original $2M allocation was approved in June, but Ownership Capital was never formed. Its intended managers, David Khosroshvili and Ioseb Khutsishvili, are now working full-time on Rip Cars. Roughly $91K has been spent on formation costs, which the new proposal ratifies as a DAO expense.

The LLC will hold the money in a separate Ecosystem Fund investing in ownership tokens and private instruments. Its initial mandate anticipates $50K to $150K positions in raises of $50K to $300K, with a focus on consumer apps. Investment proceeds remain in the fund, and holdings and activity must be reported at least quarterly. Decision markets retain authority to replace the signers, restrict their mandate or move the assets to another company account.

The decision market passed by ~8% against a -3% threshold on ~$9K of volume across 92 trades from two unique wallets. Volume was ~45% economically Pass-aligned and ~55% Fail-aligned. Directional trader participation was ~67% Pass-aligned and ~33% Fail-aligned.

MetaDAO's financials on 01Resolved show $10.6M in total NAV against a $240K monthly spending limit, roughly 39 to 44 months of runway, and META trading at an estimated ~837% premium to NAV (AS).

Rip Cars Closes Its $1.5M Strategic Round

Rip Cars, the Hot Wheels gacha platform, closed its $1.5M strategic round with funding from DBA, Colosseum, Kyle Samani, Novora, Allinbitcoin, Sacha and Erik C.

The financing follows CARS-003, which authorized minting and selling up to 12.9M CARS for a maximum of $1.5M. Rip Cars has since reported more than $300K of daily volume and 2,400 packs ripped.

Rip Cars' financials on 01Resolved show $1.5M in total NAV against a $40K monthly spending limit, roughly 33 to 37 months of runway, and CARS trading at an estimated ~156% premium to NAV (AS).

Over, a prop trading platform, was announced as MetaDAO's next curated raise with a $250K raise target. The sale was scheduled for October 29, but MetaDAO has postponed it while adapting the legal structure. No new date has been set.

Over offers simulated trading accounts with real payouts. Its model lets traders choose an account size and maximum loss, then pay a daily rate instead of the full challenge fee upfront. Profitable traders can request 80% of their profits every five days, subject to payout credits and remaining caps.

Loyal Proposes Moving Half Its Trading Liquidity Into the Treasury

Loyal, the smart wallet offering automated stablecoin yield, opened LOYAL-004 to withdraw half the DAO-owned LOYAL/USDC FutarchyAMM position into its treasury vault. The proposal summary estimates the withdrawal at ~$68K USDC and ~923K LOYAL. The assets would remain under DAO control, with no token sale.

The market has opened but remains in the Pre-TWAP window, with no trades or volume recorded at the time of writing.

Loyal's financials on 01Resolved show ~$136K in total NAV and LOYAL trading at an estimated ~7% discount to NAV (AS).

HiveBits Rejects a $92K Transfer and Proposes New Governance Terms

HiveBits, which is building a commercial bee farm in Bosnia and Herzegovina, rejected NECTAR-001, a malicious proposal to transfer $92K USDC from the treasury to an external wallet. The market failed by ~5.4% against a +3% threshold with only $6 of volume across 11 trades from three unique wallets.

A separate live proposal, NECTAR-002, seeking to move HiveBits to MetaDAO 2.0's action catalog. Each proposal would select an action with its own duration, passing threshold and execution terms. Team-sponsored extra spending would be capped at three times the monthly allowance and run for 1.5 days against a -10% threshold. Liquidations would require a ten day market and a +25% threshold, and could not be team-sponsored.

The program would build each transaction from a fixed template, except for Miscellaneous proposals. At the time of writing, the adoption market is passing by ~4% against a -3% threshold on $100 of volume from 1 trader.

HiveBits' financials on 01Resolved show ~$113K in total NAV against a $10K monthly spending limit, roughly 9 to 11 months of runway, and NECTAR trading at an estimated ~36% discount to NAV (AS).
