ZKFG Holders Approve a $0.15 Buyout to Take the Token Private
Zinc Cash’s ZKFG-008, “Take ZKFG Private Round 2,” was approved.
The proposal was authored by ZKFG-holder group representatives and ZKFG’s founder, with review from Kollan, MetaDAO’s co-founder. It marks the third attempt to take ZKFG private at $0.15 per token.
ZKFG-006 was approved, but never executed after failing to include key execution details, including an IP recipient and escrow mechanism. “Take ZKFG Private” came next, but was rejected. ZKFG-008 added the missing mechanics, including an escrow account, IP transfer language, and a pre-ZINC snapshot for the additional ZINC airdrop.
The market settled with ~$647K in volume across ~2K trades, passing by ~4% against a 1.5% threshold. The pass TWAP closed at $0.1545 against a fail TWAP of $0.1467.
Traders leaned pass, with ~60% pass-aligned and ~40% fail-aligned. Volume was almost even, with ~50% pass-aligned and ~50% fail-aligned.
ZKLSOL’s treasury holds ~$361K, still short of buying back the outstanding float at $0.15, so the offer now depends on enough funds reaching the escrow account during the 7-day funding window.
ZKFG has already traded above the $0.15 offer, giving holders a week to decide whether the redemption is still preferable to the open market.
Flash Trade Ships V2 Beta with a New Margin Engine and Onchain Forex
Flash Trade has grown well past a crypto perps venue. The permissionless exchange now offers leveraged trading across crypto, equities, and forex, with oracle-based execution and a pool-to-peer liquidity model that delivers zero slippage.
This week it pushed V2 beta into the open with a rebuilt margin engine. On a perps venue, liquidity providers sit on the other side of leveraged trades, and poorly handled liquidations can push bad debt back onto them. The V2 margin engine is built to shield LPs from net trading losses as volume grows.
Beyond crypto, traders can now access forex pairs including JPY and CNY at up to 500x leverage. New listings on Flash Trade included $UNI, $WLD, and $SPCX.
$FAF, FlashTrade’s native token, is tied to the MetaDAO ecosystem through futarchy-based governance and trades on their Futarchy AMM. However, it did not follow the typical MetaDAO launchpad path. After more than 15 months of bootstrapped development with no external funding or VC backing, the team launched $FAF and structured it as a true ownership coin by transferring IP to a community-controlled entity. Roughly 80% of the 1 billion total supply was allocated to the community, primarily early NFT holders (Flash Beasts).
Predikt’s Fundraise Goes Live on Star
Last week we covered Predikt’s pre-commit window on Star.fun. This week the raise went live.
As a reminder, Predikt is a protocol that turns prediction market positions across venues like Polymarket and Kalshi into usable collateral for borrowing, leverage, or yield.
Predikt is raising $475K at a $6.79M valuation, with the round tied to 10% of company equity held by the Bedrock Foundation. If the raise is successful, the team will operate on a fixed monthly allowance of ~$30K, with treasury governed by decision markets.
At the time of writing it has raised about 15% of its goal, or ~$75K.
Umia Shares its Legal Structure and Targets Q3 GTM
Umia Finance, the much anticipated ownership coin launchpad, shared more about its legal structure behind every project.
Umia is bringing ownership coins to Base and Ethereum, turning a venture’s token into a claim on the business backing it. All launches run through Umia’s Tailored Auctions, built on Uniswap’s Continuous Clearing Auction, and go to market with a non-custodial treasury, a legal wrapper, and decision-market governance.
Working with MetaLeX, Umia places each project’s treasury, contracts, IP, and team under a single Cayman Segregated Portfolio Company, ring-fenced so one project’s liabilities never touch another’s. The entity has no shareholders, and its board is a ministerial admin rather than the decision-maker. Anything a board would normally handle, minting tokens, changing the budget, deploying treasury, or winding the project down, routes through a decision market, and the winning outcome becomes a board resolution the team is legally bound to execute in Cayman courts. It is not a Snapshot poll.
Founders still run daily operations on an approved budget, and a project can vote through a market to spin out, go private, or list elsewhere, so the structure is not a lock-in.
Umia is targeting a Q3 launch with its own native token first in line and three ecosystem projects slated to go out the same quarter.
Umbra Opens Private Payments to Any Neobank
Umbra made two distribution moves this week. Any neobank can now offer private payments on Umbra through its Stealf Finance partnership, which pairs a compliant KYC cash wallet, debit card, and fiat rails with a self-custodial private wallet in one app. Umbra also integrated Onramper so users can fund wallets and receive payroll with the same privacy as the rest of the app. Both moves push Umbra from a standalone app toward rails other apps plug into.
Umbra’s financials on 01Resolved show ~$2.8M in treasury with ~55 to ~82 months of runway. $UMBRA trades at an estimated 75% premium to NAV.
Omnipair Integrates with CoinGecko
Omnipair markets are now discoverable on CoinGecko.
Omnipair merges spot trading and margin lending into a single oracle-free pool on Solana. Being permissionless, anyone can open a market for any SPL pair without a whitelist or an external price feed.
The CoinGecko integration increases Omnipair’s distribution surface, improving discoverability of the markets that LPs create.
The payoff showed up days later with GRASS-USDC, a market deployed permissionlessly by an LP that climbed to the third-largest pool by TVL on Omnipair.
Omnipair’s financials on 01Resolved show roughly $1M in treasury, ~14 to 21 months of runway, and it’s $OMFG token trading at an estimated 145% premium to NAV.
Other Ownership Coin Updates
- Avici teased a card coming soon, showing off spending limits you can set and change anytime and an “owners, assemble” call that ties the card to the ownership coin. Avici’s financials on 01Resolved show ~$3.3M in treasury with ~19 to ~33 months of runway, and the token trades at an estimated 251% premium to NAV.
- Loyal published its Blockworks B-2 disclosure and cleared up a market cap mix-up, pointing out that Jupiter counts locked team tokens and treasury buyback funds that are not circulating. 01Resolved shows Loyal’s Loyal’s financials on 01Resolved show it’s treasury at ~$394K with up to ~7 months of runway when the LP-position is factored in.
- Crafts’ co-founder gave a talk at Solana Summit Berlin on how to fix crypto’s broken token structure.
